Hong Kong International Airport
Hong Kong International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. The public toilets in the passenger terminals are used by millions of passengers every day. It often exhibits a strong odor affecting passengers and nearby businesses. The management team at Hong Kong International Airport had to increase air-conditioning and ventilation, causing an increase in electricity consumption.
Solution
Approximately 300 NCCO air purifiers (model: RH-220) were installed in 108 public restrooms in Passenger Terminal 1, reducing the concentration of ammonia, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and bacteria the air. Operation costs is also lowered with the decrease in energy consumed for air-conditioning and ventilation.
